Kodal Lithium Reviews Bougouni Plant Performance After Lower Q2 Production in Mali
Kodal Minerals is working to improve performance at its Bougouni lithium project in Mali after production from the processing plant was lower than expected during the second quarter.
The company said the reduced output was mainly linked to operational challenges at the plant, which affected processing efficiency and lithium recovery rates.
Kodal is now closely monitoring the facility and implementing improvements aimed at stabilising operations and increasing production.
Despite the lower quarterly performance, mining activities at Bougouni continued, with the company maintaining access to ore supplies needed to support future production growth.
Kodal said the focus remains on improving plant reliability and achieving more consistent output as the project moves through its early production phase.
