Andrada Reports Up to 3.46% Lithium Oxide in Latest Drilling Results from Lithium Ridge, Namibia
Aim-listed Andrada Mining has announced further high-grade lithium mineralisation at its Lithium Ridge project in Namibia, following the release of the third set of diamond drilling results from its ongoing exploration programme.
The company has now completed an expanded Stage One drilling campaign at Lithium Ridge, comprising 143 drill holes and approximately 16,500 metres of oriented core drilling.
Consistent High-Grade Lithium Mineralisation
The latest assay results, covering six additional drill holes, confirm consistent lithium mineralisation from near-surface levels through to greater depths.
The results also highlight the presence of associated tin and tantalum mineralisation, potentially offering additional future revenue streams.
One of the standout intercepts was recorded in drill hole LRD027, which returned more than 9 metres of mineralisation grading 2.28% lithium oxide, including a higher-grade section reaching 3.46%.
Drill hole LRD024 delivered a broader intersection of 13.27 metres at 1.42% lithium oxide, while LRD023 intersected 9.64 metres grading 1.24% lithium oxide.
Strengthening the Case for Scale and Continuity
According to Andrada Mining, the results further reinforce the continuity, scale potential, and geological consistency of the Lithium Ridge mineral system.
Mineralisation has now been confirmed across multiple drill holes and at varying depths, supporting confidence in the project’s long-term potential.
The company noted that the ongoing drilling programme is helping to better define the full extent and economic potential of the deposit.
Multi-Commodity Potential Enhances Project Value
Andrada highlighted that, in addition to lithium, the presence of tin and tantalum mineralisation adds a valuable multi-commodity dimension to the project’s overall economics.
These by-products could significantly enhance the future value proposition of Lithium Ridge as development advances.
Andrada CEO Anthony Viljoen said the latest results confirm the strength and quality of the asset, with some of the highest grades intersected to date.
He noted that lithium oxide grades reaching up to 3.46% near surface demonstrate both the quality and scale potential of the deposit, reinforcing confidence in the project’s development pathway.
Viljoen added that the expanded drilling programme was designed to rapidly define the geological boundaries and economic potential of the system, and that the latest results validate that strategy.
Next Steps in Exploration Programme
Following completion of the Stage One drilling campaign, Andrada’s exploration team will continue with detailed logging and sampling work.
The company aims to accelerate laboratory analysis and reduce turnaround times for pending assay results.
Further updates are expected as Andrada progresses toward a more detailed geological model and resource definition for the Lithium Ridge project, which is part of its broader critical minerals portfolio in Namibia.
