Syrah Resources Receives $6.5M DFC Loan for Balama Graphite Operations, Plans Further Disbursements
Syrah Resources Limited (ASX: SYR) (“Syrah” or the “Company”) announced that its subsidiary, Twigg Exploration and Mining Limitada (“Twigg”), has received a US$6.5 million disbursement from its loan with the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
The funds will be used to support working capital and sustain operations at the Balama Graphite Operation in Mozambique.
The company plans an additional US$4.5 million disbursement in October 2025, pending a restructure of the DFC loan.
Further disbursements under the US$75 million loan commitment are subject to new conditions, including the completion of the loan restructure in the September 2025 quarter.
Syrah noted that there is no certainty that these additional disbursements will be realized.
