Graphite processing at the Nipepe site in Niassa, Mozambique, is expected to commence in December this year, according to concessionaire D.H. Mining Development. The project has already seen an investment of over $90 million.
The facility, located in Muichi, is set to produce 100,000 tons of graphite annually. Once the two production lines are fully operational, the output will increase to 200,000 tons per year. Muichi is estimated to have a graphite reserve of 8 million tons.
