Volt Resources has provided shareholders with an update on the advancement of its Bunyu graphite project in Tanzania.
Following the delivery of graphite concentrate to a customer-designated testing partner in January, Volt ensured that the sample met all specified requirements through rigorous analysis conducted by a reputable institute.
Over the past three months, the customer’s testing partner has conducted thorough evaluations of the Bunyu sample.
Volt reports that the results closely align on crucial parameters such as particle size, density, moisture, and carbon content, indicating an excellent match with their own findings.
Currently, efforts are focused on optimizing the graphite surface area, which plays a pivotal role in the economics of graphite anode production.
A sample will be sent to the customer’s testing partner for further evaluation in this regard.
Responding to customer requests, Volt has shared additional documentation related to the Bunyu project, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, process plant details, and environmental impact assessments.
Volt emphasizes its commitment to building a localized supply chain in compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act in the US and the Critical Minerals Act in Europe.
