Glencore AG, in accordance with a commercial agreement, has prepaid 50% of the shipment’s value, reflecting premium pricing for Sigma Lithium’s unique Quintuple Zero Green Lithium concentrate.

Keith Prentice, Co-General Manager, highlighted the operational success of Sigma Lithium’s Greentech Plant, boasting an annualized nameplate capacity of 270,000 tonnes and consistent production performance comparable to large-scale producers.
Catarina Noci, Commercial Director, attributed Sigma Lithium’s commercial success to the exceptional technical properties of its lithium concentrate, including high purity and coarseness.

- Zero Net Carbon: Sigma Lithium is the first large-scale producer in the lithium industry to achieve carbon neutrality.
- Zero Coal Power at Greentech Plant: The company relies on 100% renewable power sources.
- Zero Tailings Dams: Sigma Lithium adopts a 100% dry stacked tailings system, eliminating the risk associated with traditional tailings dams.
- Zero Utilization of Potable Water: The Greentech Plant utilizes sewage treatment for solid fecal residues to minimize the use of potable water.
- Zero Use of Hazardous Chemicals: Sigma Lithium ensures the manufacturing process of its lithium concentrate is free from hazardous chemicals, prioritizing environmental safety.
