Power Metal Resources, an Aim-listed exploration company, has progressed plans for drilling at T1-14 in its Molopo Farms Complex (MFC) project in southwestern Botswana. The focus is on exploring for a district-scale discovery of nickel and platinum group elements.
CEO Sean Wade highlighted the significance of the MFC project, citing it as a top-priority exploration opportunity with potential to significantly enhance Power Metal’s value.
Following geophysical inversions conducted earlier, the company identified a high-priority conductor, marking a pivotal milestone at the project.
Preparations for the upcoming drill program are in full swing, with final negotiations underway for a drill contract.
Power Metal Resources anticipates commencing drilling operations in the first quarter of the upcoming year.
The identified conductor exhibits robust characteristics, stretching over several kilometers and aligning with the keel of the feeder zone intrusion within the T1-14 target area.
Its geological position within a mafic/ultramafic complex enhances the company’s confidence in the potential presence of significant nickel sulphides.
The London-based technical team, in collaboration with local advisors, meticulously examined previous exploration data, culminating in the identification of this high-priority conductor.
CEO Sean Wade emphasized the significance of comprehensive preparation, affirming the company’s commitment to meticulous planning for what is anticipated to be a critical phase of drilling operations.
