Atlantic Lithium Ltd (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11) recently welcomed Jonathan Henry as an independent non-executive director, succeeding Len Kolff, who transitions to focus on his role as chief geologist.
With nearly two decades of leadership and board experience in the global mining industry, Henry brings valuable insight to Atlantic Lithium.
He notably served as the chief executive and managing director of London-listed Avocet Mining (AIM:AVM) and presently holds the position of non-executive chair at Giyani Metals, a Botswana-based manganese oxide project developer.
His appointment aims to uphold strong corporate governance, prioritizing the interests of all shareholders.
Atlantic Lithium’s executive chairman, Neil Herbert, emphasized Henry’s extensive experience in Africa and highlighted the invaluable perspective he brings, particularly as the company moves towards construction at the Ewoyaa Lithium Project.
Henry’s expertise in taking projects from development to production is seen as a significant asset to the company’s growth trajectory.
