Bruno Baillavoine, Executive Chairperson of Gratomic Inc., anticipates that the Aukam Graphite Project will commence production within four months, provided the company secures funding.
Situated in southern Namibia near the port city of Luderitz, Gratomic is spearheading the development of the Aukam Graphite Project. Baillavoine emphasizes the significance of securing the right funding over expedited deals.
“We anticipate Aukam becoming profitable within 12 months of production commencement, distinguishing Gratomic from other graphite producers,” he states.
The immediate priority is to secure optimal funding to finalize the processing plant and provide operating capital. Gratomic has already acquired essential equipment like the stirred media mill and set up the polishing mill on-site.
Baillavoine reveals that Gratomic has invested over US$30 million in plant construction, debt-free. With key milestones achieved, the company is transitioning from an exploration to a fully-fledged mining entity, with Aukam production poised to enhance its value significantly.
The operational readiness process has led to adjustments in various plant sections, aiming to optimize performance.
Currently exploring funding avenues, Gratomic aims to complete a Feasibility Study on the Aukam Property.
This study will provide critical insights into scaling up the processing plant to commercial-scale production.
Additionally, Gratomic has engaged SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP of London, UK, as its Nominated Advisor and Broker for the proposed admission of its securities to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Baillavoine expresses satisfaction with the collaboration, targeting a listing in mid to late autumn 2024. SP Angel’s expertise is instrumental in establishing institutional connections for Gratomic’s future endeavors.
